Abby Morong has always shown a commitment to patient-centered care and been an outstanding role model of what a home health care nurse should be in the community. She consistently demonstrates clinical expertise while having to overcome obstacles of working outside of the walls of the hospital and without coworker support in the field.
Abby always has N's best interests at heart while continually advocating for her in the community. She consistently meets all expectations of care in our home and often goes over and beyond job requirements to make sure N stays happy and healthy. Abby always makes sure to check in when N has been sick, visited the ER, and we can always count on a visit should N be inpatient. It's those little extras that mean so much and show her compassion and dedication to her patients. As a private duty nurse, Abby acts as a respiratory therapist, OT, PT, Speech Therapist, Child Life Specialist, teacher, and friend. With all this responsibility she still comes to work with a smile and positive attitude each day. Thank you, Abby, for your dedication and service.
