Abby R Walker, RN

Abby goes above and beyond every time she is on shift. On multiple occasions during the day, she receives calls from various departments, and she responds immediately. She is selfless and gives her 100% at all times. A particular incident I witnessed was actually during her lunch break. She got a call about a distressed visitor who was leaving the hospital and was unable to get into his vehicle and out of his motorized scooter. Abby stopped eating her lunch and immediately went to the rescue of the gentleman, assisting him into his vehicle so he could proceed with his day. She never returned to her lunch break; she just went on to the next task. Abby exemplifies the compassion and empathy that every nurse should strive to emulate. She is always ready to lend a hand, regardless of the task. She is definitely an asset to this organization and the nursing profession.
