My mom was admitted to the hospital and had a long day in the ER and was placed on the hospital floor at 9 PM. Abby sat with my mom from 9 PM-11 PM even though her shift was done at 10:30 PM. While she sat with my mom, she explained her care, why she was in the hospital, explained home care, and gave her all the resources on how to help my mom with her future stay. She was bubbly, happy, and made my mom feel so much better and not anxious. My mom even smiled.

Abby was so gentle with my mom. Her bedside manners and all her information for the family were spot on. She also got Tele-Health on the computer and made sure the family understood all the plans. This nurse also explained to my mom her labs and her x-rays and why she was there. She helped my mom ambulate to the bathroom as she spent the days in the hospital. This nurse was so caring and so professional. She showed much compassion and empathy to my mom and the family. She even painted my moms’ fingernails! This nurse went above her call. Thank you to this nurse and to all the LP Nurses!
