Previously, Abdelwarth was greatly appreciated when a patient was assigned under his care due to STEMI. The patient felt very concerned and anxious about undergoing CABG. As a nurse specializing in coronary care, Abdelwarth went out on a limb to counsel him about his condition and the importance of having the procedure, for which the patient eventually accepted and agreed. With his continuous support, the patient made good progress and recuperated in no time. As a token of gratitude, they invited Abdelwarth, along with his nurse manager, to a hotel to celebrate the patient’s recovery as well as to honor Abdelwarth.
