With her gentle and compassionate approach, Abeer succeeded in administering the required blood transfusion despite the patient's fear of the color red by thoughtfully covering the blood bag with a white sheet to ease her anxiety.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to Nurse Abeer for her dedication, sincerity, and continuous efforts.
During one of my rounds for the Patient Experience program, I observed Nurse Abeer skillfully managing the anger and fear of a patient regarding her proposed treatment plan. The patient was suffering from anemia and psychological disorders, which made interactions with her and her companion quite challenging.

The patient had also refused the insertion of a urinary catheter, which was necessary for a medical procedure, due to her delusion that she was pregnant (although she was unmarried and not pregnant). Through patience and persuasion, Abeer convinced her to proceed with the procedure.
Moreover, the patient had refused to bathe for a long period, both at home and during her hospital stay. Thanks to God and Abeer's persistent efforts, she was able to encourage the patient to bathe, improving her hygiene and comfort.
What touched me most was discovering the next day that Abeer herself had undergone hernia surgery, yet she continued to provide the patient with exceptional care without complaint.
This story, though summarized here, represents a situation that required significant time, effort, and compassion throughout the patient's hospitalization. I pray that God rewards nurse Abeer and places all her good deeds in the balance of her blessings.
