My dad had an accident and was admitted to the hospital. Abel's compassion for my father and our family helped us through this very dark, emotional hard time. He ensured we understood everything that was going on and would often provide us with comfort words and offered to do anything to help us feel a little better. Day 2 we requested for him to be in the room as the doctors told us the devastating news my father was brain dead; Abel did it without hesitation. My dad was an organ donor and throughout that process, Abel was also present. His honesty was always appreciated and his compassion for our situation was always visible. My dad eventually was moved and this nurse continued to check on us and was even there when Life Gift came to get my dad for the last time. We will forever be grateful for his service.
