Abigail Campbell 2022, RN
Abigail has a wonderful bedside manner and is always positive, cheerful, and upbeat when speaking to her patients, namely my husband. When caring for my husband, she took the extra time to chat with him while she was tending to him, stopped to “listen” to him while he mouthed his concern and/or requests, and fully explained to him what she was doing and what to expect “in the next few minutes” while she performed her other expected duties with other patients.
Abigail goes above her call to duty and I would like NSUH to know how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to speak with her, both professionally and personally. Again, she took the time to know my name and my daughter's. She remembered that my daughter was in camp and asked how her day went when she came to visit her father. I experienced similar situations with other nurses but there was something that “clicked” with Abigail and I wanted to make sure that this was added to her personnel file.
