Abigail Douet, NP

I was lucky enough to have Abbie be my night nurse for two of my nights while recovering from a C-section. She made a point to take the baby for at least two hours, so I could sleep. Even when I declined, she helped me to give in because she insisted that I sleep. She was on top of my pain management as well. She made me feel truly cared for and I could feel that I wasn't just a patient to her. She made me feel like I was her friend that needed to get better.

I don't have a big sister but I'm sure that's what it feels like having Abbie care for me and I am pretty sure I am older than her. When I saw her for the following night shift, I could feel my face light up because I knew my buddy was there to have my back and care for me and my baby.
