My fiancé is intubated and sedated so most people don’t talk to him or explain what’s going on. That has not been the case with Abbie. Since day one she has treated him with respect and explained things to not only him but to me as well. She has been exceptional at keeping us calm and informed.

They removed his paralytic and the only reason I felt comfortable going home to sleep and shower was because of Abbie. I knew he was getting great care and he was safe and if anything happened she would call me. Abbie is an amazing nurse and you can tell she really cares for her patients. Our family really appreciates the compassionate care Abbie has given to our father for the last 2 days. She is always willing and knowledgeable of questions we have brought to her about the status and care of our father. Abbie has a great personality with empathy; it makes a difference when trusting someone to care for a family member and the person has an excellent attitude. Thanks, Abbie!
