Abigail Lehman, BSN,RN

We have had the pleasure of working alongside Abby over the past year or so. Abby is an incredible nurse who goes above and beyond for her patients and families. In particular, we’d like to recognize her for a specific patient (whom we all know and love). On the 4th of July, Abby made it a specific point to make sure that all of her other patient care was done so that she would be able to take K outside to watch the fireworks, as her family was unable to be there. A few days later was the patient’s birthday, and she made it a point to get a sweet treat and balloons to celebrate her. Recently, K had to receive a higher level of care and was unable to go outdoors for a few weeks. Abby took it upon herself to make sure that the next time she had her, she gave her a spa day (in which Abby specifically looked up a cute hairstyle to give our very special patient) and took her outside to “look at the cute paramedics” and encouraged our patient to have a photo shoot with the 2 rose bunny.  Abby’s love and kindness for all of her patients is inspiring, and we feel so proud to work alongside her.
