Abigail Lonjin

Abigail took a job caring for a local young woman who was diagnosed with a terminal illness 2 years ago. (Abigail was one of 3 students) I know this family and they had nothing but praise for Abigail. She provided compassionate care to the patient and did everything in her power to try and make her situation better each day. She was a bright light for the family during a very dark time, and I think that she deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the patient succumbed to her illness recently. This was hard on Abigail and her fellow student nurses, who also cared for the patient. It just shows the connection that they all had with the patient and her family. I am so very proud of them.
