Abigail Rubio

It was the end of our class, and I was extremely stressed out among a few others. Even though she had expressed her own worries, I was having a particular meltdown. She pulled me to the side and told me that she believed in me and thought I was going to be a wonderful nurse. She said that she talks about me to her coworkers and husband about how smart I am. Sadly, those were the most heartfelt things anyone has ever said to me. She’s the first person to even tell me that they believe in me, and she has no idea the impact her words had on me. I truly feel they are the reason I am still in this program today.
