We, as a medical team, wish to nominate Abi for a DAISY Award. There was a medical emergency on the ward today where one patient’s airway became compromised, and simultaneously, another very unwell patient required urgent attention. Abi supported the team and did everything she could to ensure the situation ran smoothly. She reassured us, remained calm under pressure, and coordinated additional staff to help. She was there for the entire team, showing kindness and compassion afterward to make sure everyone was okay. Abi even stayed late to ensure the ward was safe and settled before leaving. She truly cares for her team, and her actions exemplify NUH's values. Massive well done to you, Abi — you are greatly appreciated!
