Abigail Wise, BSN, RN

Abby continues to always show compassionate care for her patients and their families. When doing cares she does not falter to just do the minimum, but goes above what is required and ensures that the patient is comforted with any measures she finds possible. As a fellow nurse, when working with Abby I am in awe when assisting with cares with her in that I always try to aspire to be an exemplary nurse as she is. She puts forth not only quality care for her patients but for their families as well. She is always looking to see how the family can be supported in this difficult time and challenge they face when having an ill child in the intensive care unit. When assigning patients to Abby I know those patients are going to be well taken care of. Her compassion is not only warranted to her patients, but also to her fellow coworkers. She listens and responds to ensure her teammates are looked out for and supported. I know that Abby is always looking to help, and when asked is always eager to assist in any care that will assist her coworkers and overall benefit the patient as well. The PICU, its team members, and the patients they serve are fortunate to have such an exceptional nurse for their care.
