Abe was recognized by 3 different patients, all of whom described him as being very patient, kind, and compassionate. One patient said, "Abe was willing to have difficult conversations about making our family member a 'do not resuscitate'- he explained things to us in a way that we could understand." Another said that Abe advocated for her when she could not understand what the provider was saying and made sure that the doctor answered all of her questions before he left. One patient called Abe an "angel in disguise" and another one stated that he definitely was her "guardian angel" who gave her hope when she thought all was lost.
