Achu Mani was nominated due to her continued commitment to providing compassionate patient care to her patients and families during her time at Chamberlain University- Irving Campus. She was nominated by her fellow classmates because they felt she exemplified the characteristics of an extraordinary nurse. She always went above and beyond to help her classmates whenever they needed assistance in the classroom and clinical setting. She was described by one of her classmates as a "beacon of light".  She was also selected by full time and clinical faculty as a nominee because of her resiliency in the face of adversity and her exceptional clinical performance in all courses throughout the nursing program. 
We have no doubt that she will continue to demonstrate excellence as she transitions into her role as a Registered Nurse.
