My son was admitted on the same day we were told he had possible lymphoma. He was a very sick young man. Adam was his dayshift nurse. He answered all of our questions, made sure we had what we needed, and has been very attentive to our son.
Adam made sure that he had his pain medications in a timely manner and has taken time out of his day to talk to me and reassure me. As a nurse myself, I cannot explain how much this meant to me. Adam exemplifies a nurse's compassion, caring, professionalism, skills, and knowledge. The world needs more people like him. Sometimes, a hug and to know that my son is bathed in prayers and in the thoughts of others, means more than anything else. Thank you, Adam, for being a great nurse!
