December 2024 Honoree
Adam Lobberecht, RN
My husband spent 8 days in the hospital for trouble breathing due to COPD. It takes a toll on you mentally being in a hospital setting that long. Adam was his nurse on multiple occasions. We soon learned that we lived in the same neighborhood. His care and compassion went beyond just a job. He was genuinely caring and compassionate. When he told us he would be moved to the ICU and he couldn't be our nurse anymore, you could see the sadness on his face. He cared what happened to us. My husband is now in Hospice care after leaving the hospital. He is able to be at home. Adam's caring way will never be forgotten.
Thank you, Adam, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
