Adam Selby is the Orthopedic Coordinator in the Main OR. He is being recognized for being a facilitator of compassionate care, an important aspect that is often overlooked. He goes out of his way to ensure that everyone has what they need to provide good patient care. Adam demonstrates calmness in his interactions, even in stressful situations. He is diligent in providing relief for his staff in order to keep them refreshed. His compassionate care of his staff facilitates compassionate care of the patient. Staff and physicians rely on him and he always comes through.
