Adam explained everything he was doing and why it was to be done the way he is doing it. He continued to always put my mother's care first. I knew without a doubt that when he was her nurse, that she was receiving the best care possible. I would see Adam in a different pod, and he would always walk to my mother's room to see how she was doing and if he could do anything for her.
After being here for a while, I noticed Adam's character and the way he carried himself as a nurse, which really brought out his motive here in the SICU. He even called on his day off to ask how my mother was. My family and I felt that my mother was in the best hands possible. The professionalism that Adam displayed exceeded every single expectation that I had set. His loyalty to this job is a standard that I believe every nurse should strive for.
