His spark shines brighter than you could imagine.
This is the second time I’ve had Adam as a nurse, and he is one of the best people I’ve ever met. I was diagnosed with MS and sciatica in the same day, he was my nurse after that, and with each and every experience I had with him, not only did he treat me medically well, but also made me feel human. He treated me like a person going through something incredibly life changing, but did his best to assure me it was going to be okay, and that life might change but that doesn’t mean it over.
I have spent time in many hospitals, due to my brother being a dialysis patient since age 9 and throughout all my time in hospital, for myself or not, Adam is absolutely everything a genuine healthcare worker should stand for. He isn’t here for anything other than the love, help, and care of his patients. This is my second time with him. At this point the MS & sciatic has caused more issues with my body, more pain, lessening my ability to function in the real world and he has done everything he can to make me feel more confident, safe, and comfortable.
He’s taken the time to explain each and every one of my medications to me and what they do. He checks in at least once and hour or so to make sure I am feeling okay, especially after medication has been given. He is what healthcare stands for, and through this process of understanding my new disease for myself, he has made it so much more bearable to deal with. He outshines everyone. If he could be the nurse trainer, I’m sure whomever he had the ability to train would be outstanding.
He deserves mountains more than a few kind words from me and while I am just a single voice in a crowd, I hope my shout for him gets him more than a pat on the back. His spark shines brighter than you could imagine. I hope he is recognized for the amazing talent he is which comes naturally as breathing to him. Adam Scott is worth much more than an award but if I can do my part to help him, I'd do anything i possibly could.
