My wife fell and dislocated her shoulder and elbow joints. She was in so much pain; we did not take time to call 911, just got in the car and were off to the hospital. Once there, everyone could see how much pain she was in and the emotional state I was in.
Adam was very professional, and it was very evident this was not his first rodeo! He was so kind and gentle with my wife while reassuring her at all times she was going to be alright! He told us about the doctor on duty in the emergency room and the fact that he was a pharmacist, a nurse, and then a doctor. This gave us the assurance we needed that everything would be fine. They told us she would make noises, but not remember anything afterward, which she didn't.
The doctor could not get the elbow back in place without fear of hurting her and causing more damage to her arm and joints, so they transferred her to another location where they put her in a deep sleep and got it back in place without surgery. The time spent in the emergency room in Madisonville St. Joseph CHI was a very positive experience and we are both very grateful for the treatment we received from Adam and the doctor that cared for her before transfer.
