Adam was nominated for going out of his way to provide a patient with a comfort meal: pizza. The patient felt so impressed that they could not reimburse Adam for this meal. He also saved this patient’s life by giving them pudding to help clear their throat after a pill got stuck. The patient stated, “This place needs more nurses like this one...the World needs more nurses like this one!”
