My first stay at GWUH was early September 2015. Adi was one of my nurses during that three-week stay. Being a newly diagnosed cancer patient, my family and I were worried, overwhelmed and exhausted. Adi was such a calm and consistent support during those early days. I continued inpatient treatment until February of 2017 and always looked forward to having Adi as my nurse. She became an encourager and a bright spot during treatment. Her demeanor, caring spirit and her calming presence really helped me stay motivate and to continue to fight my diagnosis.
