I’m really happy to recognize Adayla for a DAISY Award. She was a real light in a super dark time for our family. Our mom moved from critical care down to the sixth floor and was there two nights just last week. She was dying, and Adayla could see that we needed a different kind of intervention, so she called for the Hospice consult. That discretion changed everything for our mom and made a much more humane and comfortable situation for her.

And while it was so hard as she was ending her life, we are so grateful to Adayla, we will never ever forget her. My sister and I will never forget her for being the one to make the call to help us transition our mom to hospice care, which was the most humane and comfortable thing for her. My sister and I deeply thank Adayla for helping us through one of the darkest times of our lives - she helped us move towards end-of-life care that was so dignified and honorable. Thank you for making our mom beautiful and putting her hair in an adorable ponytail.
