My 75-year-old husband is a patient again (if you could earn frequent flyer miles, we'd be rich!) Our nurse was energetic & amazing! I am the type of family member who wants to know everything. She ensured our board was kept current, especially listing meds, time taken, BP, and BS. She answered my questions and was very patient in doing so. My husband told me that I ask too many questions and he wanted me to stop asking. Addeesion helped me stay on top of things, including every medication my husband was taking and she was so sweet about it. My husband had been admitted for falling. He had fallen 3 times yesterday, 3 times the day before plus several other times this past week. He has a history of falling, one time with a brain bleed, so we are very cautious and I'm "over protective" (as he says) I prefer "on top of things"! This last fall resulted in a fractured rib :(. My husband said, " Addeesion is so patient with you." She pulled up his info on the computer and patiently explained all that was going on. As his caregiver, I need to know. Addeesion said she totally understood with a smile on her face, she reassured me, she made sure he got his anxiety meds before he went to have a million MRIs. He was nervous and gets claustrophobic, and she listened to his concerns- sharing them with Imaging. I could go on & on, but this nurse is stellar and I just can't tell you how calming, kind, reassuring and compassionate she is! YOU ALL NEED TO KEEP HER! I am so grateful that we go her as our nurse!
