Addy Nydegger, RN

My husband was first at Virginia Mason in Seattle for three weeks, and then he was at Skagit Valley Hospital for almost a week. His nurses (he had many) were all great, but the one that stood out the most was Addy at Skagit Valley Hospital. She took the time to listen to our concerns and was very caring and thoughtful in all her actions. She did what she said she’d do and followed through on everything. She treated my husband like she truly cared. She checked on him often and always wanted to make him comfortable. I have found many times that if a family member is there with the patient, the nurse is not as present. I know they are busy, and I am sure they appreciate it when a family member is there to take some of the burden off. She seemed like someone who truly loves her job and is doing it for the right reasons. We felt lucky to have her as a nurse, and you are lucky to have her as an employee.
