Adebola Bamgoye, who likes to be called “Emmanuel”, has extensive dialysis knowledge, skills, and incredible job performance. He is always willing to help his fellow coworkers. His positive attitude towards others is infectious. Emmanuel exemplifies compassion in dealing with family members, and when he speaks with families and patients, they seem always relieved after a conversation with him.

One family member mentioned that Emmanuel left a memorable impact on her and her family when he was assigned to dialyze her husband. Emmanuel came into the room to evaluate her husband, who had just returned from surgery and who was in extreme pain. This wonderful nurse went above and beyond to make sure that he was comfortable, working along with his primary nurse until he was stable enough to undergo the dialysis treatment. This took approximately two hours. However, Emmanuel showed great concern for the husband’s needs. He always treated the husband (patient) with respect and dignity.

“We were blessed and fortunate to have Emmanuel as my husband’s dialysis nurse. He cared for my husband as he would care for his own family member." In conclusion, Emanuel is an excellent nurse who demonstrates exceptional knowledge and nursing skills and consistently applies both compassion and integrity toward his patients. More than once, Emmanuel has greatly impressed patient’s relatives and families with his compassion and nursing care. He is a person who gives his heart and expertise to all his patients. He is an invaluable member of the dialysis team.
