I have worked in the pediatric nursing area for over 20 years. I remember why I chose pediatric nursing. When I was in my nursing internship, one day, a baby with no heartbeat brought to us for resuscitation, during that intervention, I recalled a Bible verse from Matthew 25:40: 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'
At that moment, I realized my mission and calling as a nurse.
