Adeline came back to my room to make sure I was okay. Once again, we talked for so long sharing stories with each other. It was so very nice.
Adeline was my nurse on my second day after my C-section. I was having a very hard time. Being in the hospital during COVID-19 with no family and no visitors, just my husband, and not being able to leave my room, I was starting to get a bit depressed. I was having a moment when Adeline walked in. She was so concerned. I told her I missed my mom and family and she sat with me for a while just talking and asking about my family and life. It was so nice to have someone care. Then the next day she was a fill-in nurse and came back to my room to make sure I was okay. Once again, we talked for so long sharing stories with each other. It was so very nice. Being in the hospital during COVID-19 is not easy. Being stuck in your room and not able to leave gets hard. Postpartum depression can hit hard during times like this, but having a nurse like Adeline really, really helped me. She took the time to make sure I was okay. She put my needs first and truly cared for me. It's nurses like this who deserve the world. Hearing her talk about how much she loves her job and her patients you could really see how passionate she was. She was an absolute angel.
