Ade cares for patients and families during the most vulnerable stage of life. Through many department changes, she has remained a constant for patients to ensure trust and consistency during their final journey.
Ade values the rapport that is developed with the families. She prefers to see them through their entire hospice experience. She consistently receives exceptional feedback from patients and families, described as caring, compassionate, and generous with their time. They value the fact that she truly listens and is fully present during visits.
This year, Ade showed how much of a team player they are, assisting colleagues and working overnight shifts. This ensured uninterrupted care for our patients. She also remained on call through multiple major snowstorms, responding to emergency visits and continuing to deliver a high level of hospice care despite challenging conditions.
Ade is dependable, calm under pressure, and compassionate. She provides patients and caregivers alike with support, comfort, and a listening ear during some of life’s most difficult moments.
