I was very nervous about some of the things that they wanted to do, and he was very understanding and gentle in conversation to help me understand what was going on.
I was admitted into the hospital from the emergency room for having a low Hemoglobin count. The nurse who received me on the 2nd floor, fondly called T, helped me get into bed and made me feel comfortable, making sure that I had everything I needed. He helped me go to the restroom and helped me clean up afterward. Throughout my stay, he was attentive to my needs and went above and beyond the night of his last shift when he stayed late to ensure that during the turnover, I received my medication that night on time. I was supposed to have a procedure the following day and was having a headache. T talked the doctor into allowing me to have some Tylenol and some water to drink with it. T is a very good nurse. At certain times throughout my stay, I was very nervous about some of the things that they wanted to do, and he was very understanding and gentle in conversation to help me understand what was going on. I had wonderful care while I was here from all of the staff but T stood out. He is a very good nurse and deserves much praise.
