Administrative Nursing Supervisor Team

This team of nurses exhibits extraordinary collaboration day and night with all care team members between all disciplines, peers, physicians, and leadership. Nursing Supervisors are role models of collaboration and teamwork that make a difference in the lives of patients, families, visitors, leadership, and the community. The Nursing Supervisors play a vital role in the minute-to-minute operation of the medical center and the environment as a whole. They work collaboratively with each nursing department and ancillary department to prioritize and solve problems. The work they do is limitless, their responsibilities are boundless - - from staffing, schedules, bed control, meetings, rounding, problem-solving, critical thinking, accessing situations, responding to and assisting with all emergency medical alerts and all other emergencies and security concerns, starting IVs, responding to patient and family concerns, obtaining equipment and supply needs, processing patient deaths, ensuring compliance with policy and nursing standards. All of this and more is done simultaneously while representing MUSC Health in a positive and professional manner.
