My patient was talking about how frustrated she was with her hair getting in her way. We had just been putting it in a ponytail, but she needed a "pick me up". After my patient's shower tonight I asked Adrena Edwards if she knew how to braid. She dropped everything she was doing and came right over to my unit to help. My patient's face brightened right up. Sometimes the small things are really big things to our patients.
