Adria spoke to me in a calming manner. Explained what to expect. Gave instructions to help me deal with the pain. I felt safe and cared for by the compassion I heard in her voice. I am a larger person, and not once did I feel like I was judged for my weight. She made me feel like my comfort was her highest priority. She knew what to do, what questions to ask, and was able to determine what medication would not affect my type 2 diabetes. I wanted to hug her for the kindness I felt from her.
