Adrian Adams, RN-BC

Adrian was admitting a COVID-positive mother who had a young son, who was also COVID-positive. Adrian found out that his patient was a single mom who had no family support and no one to care for her child while she was in the hospital. When the patient was brought to the floor, Adrian made a bed for the child. Not only did he make sure the child had a place to sleep, but he also made sure the child had a drink and a snack waiting for him when his mom arrived to the floor. Adrian assured the child was well taken care of through the night so the mother could rest and heal. Adrian is a role model for providing service and compassion with every patient interaction. He exuberates the SIOP culture and strives to make a difference every day.
