Adriana Gomez, RN
Adriana is an amazing nurse leader who always does what is right for patients. Whatever is needed, she will always go the extra mile to make sure it happens. Adriana builds genuine connections, cares for patients wholeheartedly, and does work beyond her role to help them.
One time, we had a patient experiencing difficult circumstances and Adriana played an important part in their outcome. She accompanied this patient via ambulance to a critical, outside appointment, and stayed with the patient until the 2-hour required appointment was completed. Due to this, the patient was accepted into a very special program and was provided a place of residency. This act is just one unique example of how Adriana helps patients beyond the bedside.

It was difficult to decide which form of gratitude to choose for Adriana as what she did for our patient displayed all aspects of our core Values. She cared like family, raised the bar, and unlocked possibilities. We are recognizing Adriana because her compassion and dedication to nursing are extraordinary.
