I would like to thank Nurse Adriana Morris, first, for her compassion, thoughtfulness, kind heart, and attitude. I was in the emergency room Tuesday from about 11:45 until we went upstairs to a room. The patient was my 88-year-old mother. We came into the emergency room and sat and waited for about three hours, then someone finally came over after I flagged down the Patient Advocate. She asked how long we had been there and was my mother in any pain. I said we’ve been here for a long time. I asked her if she could please help us. We were told that as soon as that nurse, who was faithfully working on a patient in the hallway, was finished, she would be right over. Nurse Adriana Morris was very polite and very professional. She was explaining everything to us, and then an emergency doctor came over to look at Mother's feet. Mother was in so much pain- all this time in the emergency room. X-rays of the chest and feet were ordered. IVs were put in her arm, EKG was given, and we waited again for a long time. Adriana would stop by to assure us the doctor was coming after all the test results were in. She was so patient with her. Mother is the oldest person in the church. She is our Pastor’s Mom. We give Nurse Adriana a 10! God Bless her.
