When my son had surgery today we were blessed to have Adriana as his nurse. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, makes patients feel comfortable and unafraid, explains what is going to happen, and keeps a close eye on her patient. Not only did she care for my son, but she made me feel comfortable as well. When we were getting ready to go home, something happened and the surgery had to be repaired. Adriana stayed long after her duty hours to prepare him for his second surgery. I asked when her shift ended as she had been with us all day. She was very gracious and ensured us she was glad to say. She even brought me some soup as I hadn't eaten all day. The hospital should be complimented for all the wonderful staff and the way we were treated.
