I was asking for nursing assistance for a patient. Adriana's shift was already over and she was preparing to go home. Yet to my surprise, she came and offered her help. I told her she did not have to, it was not her patient and I knew she was done with her shift. Her statement was, "Don't worry about it, they are all our patients. We know that coming to the 8th floor our patients come first." She was so pleasant about it. I appreciate not just her help and hard work that night, but her initiative and her sincerity, it is a great attitude to have.
