January 2024 Honoree
Adrianne Cooke, BSN, RN
While still on orientation, Adrianne recently had a patient who told her that it had been eight months since he had a haircut, and he really wanted one. He was always self-conscious about his hair; it was so long, but recent health issues had made it difficult to get it cut. After Adrianne’s shift, she went to Target, bought clippers, then came back to the hospital and gave him a haircut. The patient was so appreciative of this that he cried.
Adrianne truly made an impact on this patient, and he wanted us to know that her act of kindness meant so much to him.

Thank you, Adrianne, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
