Adrienne is an Extraordinary Nurse. After developing a life-threatening postop complication, she was the first to run into my room and made the decision to call a condition. She had an active role in saving my life at UPMC Magee after delivering my 4th baby. Not only did her fast actions help save my life, but once I was stable enough to be transferred out of the ICU and back to the floor, she took care of me. She advocated getting all my medications changed to IV after I developed a post-op ileus. She held my hand during bedside procedures and while I was in pain; she made me feel like I was her only patient. Adrienne is the definition of an amazing health care provider. I will never forget her or how she made me feel in some of our scariest and darkest days. Adrienne, thank you for helping to save my life, and thank you for all that you have done to help get me home to my family. From the bottom of my heart thank you.
