I have mental health issues, and the nurses were very understanding and compassionate with my issues and needs. I couldn’t sleep because of my racing thoughts; so they walked with me all night to keep me company. I wasn’t able to walk by myself for safety reasons, but no matter what time it was, Adrienne stopped what she was doing to walk lap after lap with me around the unit. I haven’t had someone who has supported me and been non-judgmental for a while but after talking all night with my nurse and with her student, I felt like I finally had someone on my side.
