Adrienne just remained focused on her nursing. She stayed present and calmed the other family members.
Adrienne is an incredibly compassionate RN who goes above and beyond, not just with patients, but also with family members. During a recent Honor Walk, a family member collapsed due to being absolutely overwhelmed. I saw Adrienne work with the member by monitoring her closely which brought such comfort to the other family members and team. She spoke gently and compassionately to her, making sure the woman had a pulse and was breathing. Initially, someone called for another RN or doctor for immediate help as they did not realize Adrienne was an RN. Adrienne just remained focused on her nursing. She stayed present and calmed the other family members. She even escorted the woman and family to their vehicles to ensure they were safely on their way home. I am honored to share this beautiful example of such deep strength and compassion. You are a bright star, Adrienne!
