Adrienne was in close contact with a patient who had elevated blood sugar levels. The patient agreed to go to the ER or call Adrienne back within an hour. When the patient did not call her back, Adrienne contacted all the local hospital ERs. After she found that the patient was not there, she contacted the police to do a well-check and the police transported her to the hospital where she was admitted. The patient told Adrienne that she didn't think she'd make it another day and was grateful for all of her follow up to ensure she was safe.
