Adrienne is committed to excellence, often going out of her way to find ways to provide the best plans for our colleagues to succeed.
Adrienne Messer has been nursing since 2003, starting her career in nursing in OB, moving into a role in clinical education and then into leadership in 2023 over the Clinical Education department. I’ve only worked with Adrienne for a short amount of time, but have gotten to watch her approach to leading her team and how well they work together. There is a feeling of family and community among her team that is present whenever I am around them. She is clear in her communication and expectations, in multiple instances I have seen her interact with her colleagues. From onboarding to PCT and RN residency, she is fully engaged and offers the best she has to offer towards positive long-term results for our organization. She collaborates well with all her peers and is a solution-oriented leader. Adrienne is committed to excellence, often going out of her way to find ways to provide the best plans for our colleagues to succeed. Adrienne embodies the spirit of the DAISY Award through her exceptional role modeling for her team and peers, by creating environments of trust, compassion, and mutual respect, encouraging continued professional development, motivating colleagues to achieve better outcomes for themselves and their patients, and by promoting the image of nursing within the organization! For all these reasons, I nominate Adrienne Messer for the DAISY Nurse Leader Award. Thank you for all you do. You are an inspiration!
