Adrienne Stephens, RN

Adrienne came in my room and introduced herself, wrote her name on the board and started assessing my vitals while discussing a plan to get my MRI completed. Adrienne sympathized with me having anxiety and being claustrophobic. She assured me of a plan for medication and that she would be with me every step of the way which included leaving the unit to walk down to the MRI floor with me. As the day ticked by, she could see the distress on my face and again assured me she was personally committed and was making sure that the MRI would take place before her shift change. She expressed that she wouldn't feel right leaving me without the MRI started as it would weigh on her, and she would be thinking of me all night. Giving that extra means putting effort, time, and energy into your work beyond what is normally expected or required. God put Adrienne with me, as I couldn't have completed the MRI without her compassion and support. Thank you, Adrienne!
