Adrienne is always such a hard worker! She loves to precept and makes sure that the new hires are getting the most out of their orientation. Recently, Adrienne was working and it was a busy night. There was an infant who was on CPAP and it was being discussed that this baby may be taken to a specialty hospital. Adrienne got the baby and mom set up to do kangaroo care or skin to skin. The baby calmed down and his breathing improved throughout the night after the skin to skin was initiated. There are not many who will initiate this for babies who are on CPAP, but Adrienne does and this baby proved that skin to skin contact helps! I am proud to work with her and learn from her when I can.
