A young girl with a possible miscarriage turned out to actually be having a spontaneous abortion for a four-month old fetus, which resulted in a lot of bleeding. I am so grateful Adrienne was the nurse in with me, given her previous OB experience. She knew exactly what to do and at times was actually giving me instruction. She stayed with me in the patient's room for about an hour working to deliver the placenta. Adrienne was so calm and caring yet prompt and concerned about all the appropriate aspects of the patient's care. She was a stellar nurse going above and beyond her call of duty.
