Adriona Newbern, LPN

We have been patients of Dr. G now for almost 5 years. Throughout this time, Adriona has been our nurse and provided outstanding communication, support and compassionate care for my husband and I. She responds to our questions, concerns, and needs typically on the same day, and when we have to stop in for an injection, we are always seen quickly. What we appreciate most is that she knows us by name and remembers our medical history and what we are being seen for on that given day. Having this type of care after spending 24 years in the military and being passed around from doctor to doctor, is priceless.

She and Dr. Guadiana, as a team, are the reason we continue to come to SGMC Family Medicine. Adriona has been known to call me and remind me that I need to stop by for an injection, she has followed up on referrals without me asking, and gone above and beyond to ensure that I receive the medication and care that I need. She has been nothing but supportive, gracious, and a blessing to the two of us. Just recently, she called me after hours to follow up on a message I had left her. I by no means expect anyone to take time after their workday to follow up with me. But, this is just yet another example of the exceptional nurse she is.
